New Anthology Project!!
Moving Beyond Boxes: The Journey To Self-Discovery

In conjunction with Dr. Constance Leyland and Level Up Academy.
Starting May 01, 2024, we embark on a writing journey with a limited number of authors to write about a time when we each moved beyond the place in life where we felt stuck… the place where we no longer had control as we gave it to others, society, or even our own fear.
When I talk about “Boxes,” these are the stigmas, labels, societal norms, and additional ways others try to define us… the way they approach us because of some small piece of who we are (being neurodiverse, having a disability, being LGBTQ+, our educational background, and so many other things we cover about ourselves so others won’t treat us “differently”).
When we let fear hold us back – keep us in a box – we no longer control our lives… I was stuck in boxes I feared for much of my life, thereby letting others control who and what I was – and was expected to do.
“Moving Beyond Boxes” looks at how we finally let the awareness that we control our lives get ignited, and how we took those steps to move from a place of control and stagnation to one of wellbeing and no longer fearing to be our authentic selves.
This is an opportunity to tell your story – in your words. We put this anthology together because you have a story to tell of how you moved beyond boxes and overcame to be where you are now… someone out there is waiting to read it because they are in a similar situation as you were, and your story shows them how it’s possible for them to begin Moving Beyond Boxes.
